Subject: Argentina foreign pool report #2
After the press conference, POTUS visited the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral, where papa Francisco used to celebrate mass in his times of Cardinal.
He was greeted by Cardinal Mario Aurielio Poli, who said a prayer in Spanish and spoke about General San Martin, who was one of the leaders of the independence from the Spanish empire."
Potus was standing in front of the altar, in some moments with his head down and looking to the floor. Later he walked to the Mausoleo in the church in honor to San Martin, covered partially with an Argentinian flag, to participate in a wreath laying ceremony.
After he moved to another part of the cathedral which includes a memorial to victims of the Holocaust.
Argentina's foreign minister, Susana Malcorra, was in the tour with Potus.
