Subject: FLOTUS Pool No. 5 -Booksellers - more arrivals
Final arrivals --
American Ballet Theater's principal dancer Misty Copeland arrived wearing a strapless metallic black and silver gown.
"I have no idea," she said, when your pooler asked who she was wearing.
Performer Ne-Yo said he would be performing "a little bit of everything." He said he'd be doing a 20-minute set. "It's going to be good."
He also joked that he wasn't nervous. (He's totally nervous.)
"I know there's some Chinese heritage in my family," he replied when a reporter asked his thoughts about performing in front of China's president.
"This is my lovely mother," he said of his date.
Unlike Lee Daniels' mother, Ne-Yo's mom said he's her only.
"He's my only son," she said. "I'm the most proud mama ... He's a good kid too."
That's a wrap. Takeaways from the Booksellers tonight: velvet pantsuits and bringing moms as dates.
