After a 30 minute drive that took us past the president's old high school the motorcade arrived at Makiki Loop Hawaii Nature Center.
From the White House:
"The President and the First Lady are hiking with family friends at Makiki Loop Hawaii Nature Center."
No word on the names of the fellow hikers. Pool is holding in a less-than-scenic parking lot.
