Subject: In-town pool #4 -- Colonnade walk and lid
Just before 6:30 p.m., pool was moved to the corner of the Colonnade for a photo-op of the president walking alone from the West Wing to the residence. His was carrying his "homework" -- a binder with information about possible Supreme Court nominees.
Your poolers called out to him, "How many names?" But the president just kept walking, saying "Have a good weekend."
You may have heard Josh Earnest say at the briefing today:
"But we’ll try to keep you apprised of the process as it moves forward. I mean, I guess another thing that I can tell you is that the President’s team over the course of this week has spent a lot of time preparing materials for the President’s review. And I would expect over the weekend that the President will begin to dig into the materials that have been prepared for him by his team."
At 6:31 p.m., a travel/photo lid was called.
