Subject: In-town pool report #2a: correction on the college editor who asked for an interview with POTUS

The editor who asked for (and appears poised to get) an interview with Obama was Dan Corey of The Daily Targum at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ), where Obama will be commencement speaker on May 15. The Daily Targum, founded in 1869, is the nation’s second-oldest college newspaper.

Thanks to Herb Jackson, Washington correspondent for The Record and a Daily Targum alum, for identifying the questioner. Your pooler was standing in the back of the room, a position that only increased her appreciation for the ease with which one can cover a briefing when seated toward the front.
