In-town pool report #6, 10/21/15 -- Marine One arrival and lid

Marine One landed on the South Lawn of the White House at 5:49 p.m. as the autumn sunlight glinted off the Washington Monument and surrounding trees. POTUS emerged a few minutes later, crisply saluted as he descended the steps, and waved to your pool as he strode across the lawn toward the West Wing. Disembarking behind him were Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz, aide Joe Paulson, Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, and Deputy Chief of Staff Kristie Canegallo. POTUS entered the Oval Office and was seen to shed his suit jacket.

A travel/photo lid has been called. Have a good evening, all.
