Subject: In-town pool report #6 - Paris
As announced, President Obama came into the briefing room at 5:46 p.m. to address the unfolding terrorist attack in Paris.
"Once again we've seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians," Obama said.
We stand prepared and ready to provide whatever assistance that the government and people of France need to respond, Obama said.
"We're going to do whatever it takes to work with the French people and with nations around the world to bring these terrorists to justice," he said.
Obama said he would not speculate now about the situation and he did not take any questions.
The president spoke for about 4 minutes.
