At 7:21 p.m., after a 25-minute drive from Joint Base Andrews, the president's motorcade entered the White House grounds. The motorcade again followed most traffic laws, and had to deal with some late-Friday rush congestion. Your pooler did not spot President Obama specifically exit his vehicle, but the golfing party appeared to enter the residence around 7:24 p.m.

No word on how President Obama played today in the intense heat -- and after a lengthy break from the links. Dr. Martha Joynt Kumar, director of the White House Transition Project, reminded your pooler today that President Dwight D. Eisenhower also enjoyed the game. “I’m going to pass a law that no one can ask me my golf score," he once quipped, uttering a sentiment shared by presidents of both parties before and after Ike's presidency.

And at 7:30 p.m., we have a travel and photo lid. Have a great weekend, everybody.
