Pool spray at bottom of POTUS bilat with French President Francois Hollande
POTUS began speaking at 5:10 pm, welcomed his "dear friend and partner Francois Hollande." Potus spoke softly, was barely audible. POTUS praised Hollande for "galvanizing the European community" in fight against terror.
Per Obama, the two leaders discussed possibility of a new government in Libya. Potus called Hollande a "great partner" on issues including Paris climate agreement, on which there is "no time to lose."
Hollande spoke next, his ex-partner, Environment Minister Segolene Royal, to his right. Hollande spoke at length about the risks of terrorism, and efforts to retake territory from ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Motorcade departed convention center at 5:26, arrived WH at 5:31 pm.
