First, we have a travel/photo lid.
POTUS met with His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales in the Oval Office this afternoon. Pool spray at bottom, and pool got brief remarks about the Invictus Games for wounded service members.
POTUS praised efforts "to make sure that we see not simply the sacrifices (service members) have made, but also the incredible contributions and strength and courage that they continue to display. So we are very glad to support the Invictus Games" to be held in Orlando, Fla., in May 2016.
POTUS thanked Harry "for his own service in Afghanistan alongside our outstanding American troops. It is a testament to the special relationship, the incredible bond that we share between our two countries, and that bond continues into the next generation of leadership that His Royal Highness represents."
Prince Harry said organizers had "huge amounts of fun" planning the games, which he added were based on the Warrior Games.
As pool left, Mark Knoller of CBS News told the Prince he had a nice beard.
"Likewise," Prince Harry replied, adding, "Mine's not gray yet."
Prince Harry met earlier Wednesday with wounded service members, along with FLOTUS and Jill Biden, at Fort Belvoir.
