Subject: In town travel pool #2a -- POTUS comments on Lynch

Normally wouldn't pool an open press event, but POTUS made brief remarks on Lynch vote, so I'm passing on in case folks need it.

"I am very pleased that Loretta Lynch has now been confirmed. American will be better off for it."

He said Lynch "spent her life fighting for the fair and equal justice that's the foundation of our democracy."

He said she's "got credibility with law enforcement, but she's also got credibility with communities" and said she wants to make sure that "all around the country we are rebuilding trust" between police and communities.

Look for complete remarks when WH sends them out later.
