A few follow up notes on earlier pool report:
In the Oval office, Obama was sitting to Stoltenberg's left. The pool was ushered out of meeting at 12:15.
In his remarks Sec-Gen Stoltenberg reaffirmed importance of Nato alliance. Nato "is as important as ever"
Afghanistan is "high on our agenda" Afghanistan "is our biggest military operation" ever. He said Nato was also "respodnign to more assertive Russia"
On NATO's budget he said "We are now working on the biggest re-enforcement of Nato's defense since the end of the Cold War". In a small press briefing after the remarks, Gen Stoltenberg declined to respond to Trump's Nato comments.
A full transcript of the Oval Office spray will be out from WH shortly. A lunch lid has been called until 2pm with the exception of Josh Earnest's briefing
