As part of National Public Health Week, the President is joining Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy for a roundtable discussion at Howard University School of Medicine to discuss the public health effects of climate change and highlight the importance of protecting communities across the country from this threat. The President will be joined by health care practitioners, parents, academic and health care professionals, and Administration officials as he announces a series of actions the Administration businesses, cities, and colleges and universities are taking to better understand, communicate, and reduce the health impacts of climate change on our communities.
