Motorcade arrived at the Shelter at 3:08pm where a crowd of onlookers was waiting for the first family.
Pool was let into the building at 3:15 where Potus and Flotus were helping half a dozen school age children paint an indoor moral featuring MLK Jr and butterflies. Potus told the pool "Happy King Day!" as we were ushered and was quick to note that he and the First Lady were not responsible for the majority of the mural which was near completion.
They painted in silence for a few moments prompting Flotus - who was in coloring in a butterfly - to remark: "We are painting in silence... Does anyone have any good jokes? Age-appropriate?" She added quickly.
Pool was ushered out quickly thereafter. We have been promised another (hopefully longer) spray towards the end of their visit.
For now, we are holding in the van where a crowd of onlookers is singing "Obama Obama Hey Hey Goodbye" (based on the Bananorama song).
