World Series Champs, the San Francisco Giants were announced and entered the East Room at 2:18 p.m. to a standing ovation from a small but enthusiastic audience. It took about 5 mins to get everyone the stage. President Obama entered the East Room at p.m. 2:22 accompanied by Giants CEO Larry Baer and Giants manager Bruce Bochy immediately began his remarks after urging the crowd to sit down. Obama quipped "welcome back" to the Giants, noting that this is the third time in five years that they have returned.
Remarks were open press. President Obama wrapped up comments at 2:29 p.m
Baer then took the podium and made some remarks, "the game of baseball really has the ability to be more than a game, it's really a shared story the way we look at it in San Francisco."
At 2:23 Baer announced that there were gifts for Obama, presenting him with an autographed ball as well as a jersey that read "Obama 44". Baer quipped that it was time to being his base to him, to which someone in the crowd shouted "4 more years." Obama a laughed and Baer added "perhaps another term", before presenting Obama with an autographed base.
Obama then stood with the team for pictures, before shaking the hands of Baer and Bochy. The president then turned his attention to the crowd, appearing to shake hands with a few people (your pooler didn't have a great visual) before exiting room at approximately 2:37 p.m.
