President Obama began speaking at UNC-Chapel Hill at 3:43 p.m. and concluded at 4:28 p.m., enthusiastically working a rope line afterward.

The UNC student who introduced him was Isabell Trumbull.

Per David Guynn, UNC-Chapel Hill fire marshal, the crowd count was 16,200.

As the president noted, there were several people who appeared to pass out from heat at the rally. They included a woman in a motorized wheelchair who ran over several people and crashed into the traveling press table after the event. Injuries appeared minor.

The official temperature was 79 degrees, but it seemed much hotter in the crush of people on the artificial turf.

Motorcade rolling (finally and officially) at 5:21 p.m. back to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
