Josh noted today's jobless report, praising the longest streak of private sector job growth in 37 years.
He talked at the top about nostalgia over the 2008 South Carolina primary, said without that victory "There would not be a President Barack Obama."
Another reason for nostalgia is senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer's last trip on Air Force One. It's his last day on the job.
"Dan is somebody who  has inspired deep respect and loyalty among his colleagues. Obviously the president shares that respect as well."
He said the president accepts the conclusions of the DOJ report on Ferguson. No specific reaction to Officer Wilson not being charged, or to the emails that mentioned the president.
"The results of the investigation speak for themselves."
On Clinton emails, "I don't have a whole lot new to shed on this."
"I have no idea when the president first learned," that she was using the private account exclusively and that she had a server at her home. "I wouldn't be surprised, however, if he had learned about that by reading the newspaper. The president has a lot of things on his plate. I'm not sure the details of a senior administration official's email arrangement lands on the president's desk with any regularity."
