At 3:57 pm the pool was brought out to witness POTUS and the rest of his foursome wrap up on the 18th hole at Kapolei Golf Club.

[Types in golf whisper]

Clad in a white polo shirt, a baseball cap and dark shorts, the president approached what was a rather short put, briefly sized it up, and then knocked it in successfully.

As he reached for the ball in the hole, he removed his cap in something of a literal tip of the hat in the pool's direction.

Fellow players then approached POTUS to clasp hands and bro hug in triumph.

It was a picturesque scene, the green just off a water hazard with palm trees in the background reflecting a light breeze.

Earlier during our extended hold in the clubhouse, there had been some very light showers in the area.

Now back in the vans, pool can see a partial rainbow off in the distance.
