Background on Introducer:‎

Tu Ngo, a member of the YSEALI Network, will introduce the President. After completing her studies in the US in 2009, Tu and her colleagues co-founded Yola, now a leading education service in Vietnam. Yola has helped thousands of Vietnamese students to gain acceptance at more than 150 universities, with 50% of the students earning scholarships or financial assistance. Tu is also Co-founder of ELSA, a project designed‎ to help non-native English speakers improve their language abilities. ELSA won the 2016 South by Southwest Startup competition. Tu was the first Vietnamese pupil from a state-owned high school to receive a scholarship from Stanford University.

About town hall:

The President will give brief remarks and then take questions from the audience. The audience consists of approximately Vietnamese ‎800 young people, all of whom are members of YSEALI.‎
