Subject: Travel pool report #11--lid
The motorcade rolled out on the streets of Havana at 8:51, after the end of dinner for the president and first family. Streets were still lined with people taking photos and watching the motorcade pass until it took off on a cleared road along the water that at one point passed the embassy.
The president arrived at the ambassador's residence, where he is staying, at 9:10. A lid was called right away.
That's a wrap on day one of Obama in Cuba. Hasta mañana.
