Subject: Travel pool report 3 (National Guard Base)
Air Force One landed at the miserably wet North Carolina Air National Guard Base at just before 14:00 after a roughly one hour flight.
That base is home to the 145th Airlift Wing.
As the pool sheltered from the rain under the wing, POTUS walked down the aircraft steps under an umbrella and wearing a raincoat and got into the Beast.
He then travelled a few hundred yards to a storeage facility where got out and greeted a small group of military families, who mercifully did not have to wait outside.
"Hey guys" he said "Hello everybody." "It's a little wet."
He exchanged a few more pleasantries, which your pooler could not hear.
The motorcade is now rolling to a town hall event at ImaginOn, described by the White House as "
an educational library and theatre arts center".
The town hall will be moderated by BlogHer and SheKnows and will be streamed live on the White House website.
