Subject: Travel pool report #4: Obama meets with meets with President Mulatu Teshome of Ethiopia
At 12:34 pm EAT, the pool was ushered in to see POTUS meeting with Ethopian President Mulatu Teshome. Both men were seated in chairs, with half-a-dozen aides seated in two rows facing each other. There was a large arrangement of salmon-colored roses in the center of the room.
The pool was ushered out after 30 seconds, and there were no formal remarks. As we were leaving Obama said “I want to thank the government…” but nothing else could be heard after that.
