Motorcade began its journey on W. 3rd Street, passing by a group of anti-Keystone Pipeline and anti-fracking protesters. The demonstrators stood across from FirstEnergy Stadium, the home of the Cleveland Browns and the infamous Dawg Pound.
Drive to Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport was otherwise uneventful.
Motorcade pulled up next to AF1 on the runway at 4:51 p.m. POTUS boarded the aircraft and we are strapping in for our flight back to JBA.
Final note before takeoff:
Crowd count: 465 people were in attendance at the City Club forum, according to Dan Moulthrop, Chief Executive Officer of City Club of Cleveland.
