Subject: VPOTUS pool report 2 - arrival Kiev

Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., aboard Air Force Two, landed at Boryspil International Airport in Kiev, Ukraine a 7:07am, the 16th of January, 2017 -- with just four days left on his official watch.

The sun is just beginning to flirt with the edge of a dark Ukrainian winter horizon.

The Vice President is scheduled to have a set of meetings here in Kiev for half a day and then depart for Davos arriving this evening.

Those who greeted the Vice President are:

Ms. Olha Chubrikova, Ukrainian Chief of Protocol
Ms. Olga Chubrykova
Mr. Andriy Zayats
Mr. Mykola Povoroznyk
Mr. Oleksandr Shevchenko
US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Louise Yovanovitch

Three women dressed in traditional Ukrainian folk attire greeted VP Biden as he stepped off Air Force Two with bread and salt which he took a bite of and seemed to enjoy, but that is speculation on the part of your pool.

The delegation is departing now at 7:25am for the Cabinet of Ministers' Club to meet Prime Minister Groysman.
