VPOTUS travel pool report #2 -- LaGuardia arrival

Air Force Two landed at Laguardia Airport in New York City at 9:15
a.m., as sun streamed through heavy clouds overhead. At 9:26, Vice
President Biden emerged, followed by Homeland Security Secretary Jeh
Johnson, and they descended the steps. Instead of heading straight for
his limo, the VP walked over to your pool and shook hands with us
briefly, joking that he would be watching to see if we could stay
awake through all the upcoming United Nations meetings and "30
speeches about how we're going to go after ISIS," an apparent
reference to the summit on countering violent extremism where
President Obama is speaking this morning, which Biden will chair
afterward. Asked whether he was going to give us any news to cover
today, the VP said no -- "Should be some interesting bilats, though."
He turned with a smile and headed for his car and the motorcade rolled
at 9:28 a.m. Next stop: the U.N.
