No news -- barely any remarks.

Pool was let into the Oval Office at about 10:40 a.m. for about 20 seconds for a pool spray at the top of a meeting between the president and the PM.

The two were seated in chairs in front of the fireplace, smiling broadly.

"Bon giorno," Obama said to the pool as it mashed into the room. As Italian reporters repeated the greeting, he added: "That's it."

Several poolers attempted questions, but Obama said something to the effect that the leaders would be taking questions at the press conference later this morning.

Renzi may have said something to the Italian press, but it was hard to catch.

Both leaders looked relaxed and casual with smiles on their faces.
