The other leaders came into the meeting room at 9:15 am and sat down around a round teakwood table, then joked around in French as they waited about five minutes for POTUS to arrive. Out the window, the pool could see POTUS and his party walking up a long drive. He came in, took off his jacket, nodded to everyone, sat down and turned with Abe to wave at the press. When a German photographer called to him, he turned his direction, clasped Chancellor Merkel's hand and said, "We love your chancellor." The group turned to their business and the pool left.
