President Obama and President Quang exited the bilateral meeting room at 11:38am to the space where they took the official photo.
They stood behind a long table draped in yellow, adorned with American and Vietnamese flags, a flower arrangement and a plastic airplane.
US delegation, which also attended the meeting, stood to the side and includes Susan Rice, Secretary Kerry, Mike Froman, Ben Rhodes, Dan Kritenbrink and others.
Info from WH on the event, which included a couple of business deal signings by executives seated at opposite ends of the table, while POTUS and Mr. Quang stood there watching:
Today, President Obama and President Quang attended a signing ceremony where American and Vietnamese companies inked new commercial deals worth more than $16 billion. This transaction strengthens the US-Vietnam economic relationship.
* Boeing will sell 100 aircraft to VietJet. We expect this will support 60,000 American manufacturing and technology jobs.
* Pratt & Whitney will sell 135 advanced engines to VietJet.
* GE Wind will partner with the Vietnamese government to develop 1,000MW of wind-generated electricity. This will support our broader climate and clean energy cooperation.
