Subject: In town print pool #2: POTUS departure

The president emerged from the South Portico at 12:08 PM wearing a navy suit and red tie. He moved away from the pool and towards a group of supporters visiting the White House opposite us. After greeting them he moved to board Marine One.

POTUS was followed by White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, White House personnel director John McEntee, and Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe (who was also seen milling about outside the South Portico shortly before the president emerged).

Marine One was wheels up at 12:12 PM.

The president tweeted this morning that he would "be seeing" protesters gathered in Washington today to demand the nullification of President-elect Joe Biden's election victory. Asked whether that signaled any change in the president's schedule today, White House press told your pooler at 11:45 AM that there were no schedule updates.
