POTUS pool report #21/third and final inaugural ball

Motorcade arrived at the National Building Museum about 10:35 pm after a short, slow but uneventful drive from the convention center. Lots of folks in military dress uniforms. Pool climbed to third floor because photographers know there's a great shot to be had from above of the first couple dancing on the presidential seal.

The Marine Band is playing on the balcony. There are delicious but somewhat unidentifiable odors in the air, suggesting the guests -- military and first responders -- were having an enjoyable evening.

Trumps seem to be waiting for the 11 o'clock news to arrive. The music stopped a while ago. Some scattered announcements of USA! USA!

At 10:59, aides affixed the presidential seal to the lectern.
